  7. you  want to  know   whether  you  are 
  8. enronment  minded  or not, read on  to 
  9. find out more  about the  green  facts  
  10. of life...

  12. Nowadays, the  youth  is more and more
  13. confronted  with the results of  their
  14. own behaviour, namely pollution.  What
  15. ever you do, the result is  pollution.
  16. If you get yourself a coke out of your
  17. refrigerator, chances are high that it
  18. uses CFK as cooling element. CFK makes
  19. the  ozone - layer dissapear  and also
  20. causes a higher chance of skin-cancer.
  21. When  you  get yourself  a  pizza, you
  22. throw away the box. Chances  are  high

  26. that it contains  tin  foil.  But this
  27. layer of tin foil is so thin,  that it
  28. can't be  recycled. Also other things:
  29. When you go out to the local  computer
  30. store by moped, motor, car, bus, plane
  31. or whatever, this vehicle adds  CO2 to
  32. the air. And CO2 causes the greenhouse
  33. effect (lame  song  by Tony  Scott, by
  34. the way.), which makes the temperature
  35. on  earth  rise  quickly. So  quickly,
  36. that in 2050  you won't be able to ski
  37. on  the  Alps anymore  (FACT), or  get
  38. yourself  a specimen  of  that  lovely
  39. flower 'Edelweiss' ( but it was  wrong
  40. to  pick  them  anyway). And  when you
  41. arrive  at  the computer store, you'll
  42. perhaps buy 3.5" diskettes, which  are
  43. not  just  inserted in their boxes  by
  44. ten,  but  also   have  these  plastic
  45. @#

  47. @t5covers  over  each  of  them (for some
  48. obscure  reason)  Positive   thing  of
  49. discs   is  of  course  that  we ( the 
  50. computer users) don't  throw  away the 
  51. plastic we  buy  so   easily.  Imagine  
  52. what a  pile  of  junk   THAT would be 
  53. (and imagine  the smell  of the  smoke
  54. when  you burn it..)

  56. Well, just consider these  things. And
  57. I do know that there really isn't much
  58. chance either that you'll do something
  59. about it, because all  of you say that
  60. each individual action won't help  any
  61. thing. It will, but what's the  use of
  62. trying to convince you. You won't lis-
  63. ten anyway. And  I, myself  don't care
  64. too much, either. I took me  some time
  65. to realize that our parents and  grand
  66. parents have created an enormous mess,
  67. spoiled   our   minerals, or   better:

  70. job to repair the unrecoverable damage
  71. And you  WILL be confronted with it in
  72. the  future, whether  you  like  it or
  73. not.
  74. So try to live better, and think about
  75. this  writing. Go to the next party by
  76. train (which you probably already did)
  77. and  let  your  hair  grow  long, join
  78. Greenpeace  (certainly  a way  to  see 
  79. something of this planet), and...
